Welcome to Acme Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). Subscriptions automatically renew for successive periods of the same length at the then-current rate, unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.


### 3.2 Free Trials


We may offer free trials. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, your paid subscription will begin automatically and your payment method will be charged.


### 3.3 Refunds


You may request a refund within 14 days of a qualifying purchase by contacting legal@acme.example. Refunds are granted at our discretion and do not apply to partially-used billing periods except where required by applicable consumer protection law.


## 5. Acceptable Use


You agree not to, and not to permit anyone else to:

## 9. Disclaimer of Warranties


THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Acme Inc. DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.


## 10. Limitation of Liability


TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL ACME INC., ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.
